6 years ago I would’ve never thought I would own 6 years ago I would’ve never thought I would own a pair of leggings. I was working out in baggy men’s gym shorts and T-shirt’s. I didn’t feel comfortable or confident at all bc of my size. I felt intimidated to walk in to a Lululemon or other fitness stores. I felt judged and often wouldn’t receive help from associates because of my size and stores “not having anything for me”. 6 years ago I was introduced to @caliabycarrie and I haven’t turned back. It has been more than a brand. More than just being a fan of @carrieunderwood - so much more! I have found leggings that I feel comfortable and confident in. I get to feel a sense of normalcy to dress like everyone else. I felt more confident in going to my boxing classes. I still feel that way to this day. I know with @caliabycarrie that the brand values it’s customers and provides size inclusivity that some brands don’t. With such a versatile brand I can go from work to the gym effortlessly with their pieces - making my already busy life easier. Thank you @carrieunderwood and @caliabycarrie for improving my confidence, for helping me feel my best whether that’s lounging at home, kickboxing, running errands or working. Thank you for making me feel like I am part of a community and feeling like I can walk in to a @dickssportinggoods and pick out pieces without getting looks that “they don’t have anything for me”. You have had a customer since day one and will be for life. Thank you. Here’s to many more years!

Happy game day, Smashville! It’s still snowy and Happy game day, Smashville! It’s still snowy and cold here in Nashville - perfect hockey weather! Pretty sure if the game was at home that could play outside right now! It’s also great weather to stay inside on the couch and tune in to the game tonight, which is what I will be doing. I hope everyone is continuing to stay safe, warm and making the best of the winter storms.
One way to keep warm during all these Arctic tempe One way to keep warm during all these Arctic temperatures is to get in a @fit52 #commit2fitchallenge workout in! Now time for a hot cup of cider and wait for the next round of snow that is apparently on its way. I hope wherever you are that you are warm and safe!

I may not have gotten the snow I wanted today but I may not have gotten the snow I wanted today but I did get back on track with my @fit52 #commit2fitchallenge workouts. Anyone else get thrown off if they change anything about their schedule/routine? I skipped working out Monday and started Tuesday instead which threw me off. But I’m back on normal schedule, I have my @caliabycarrie hoodie and a bowl of soup to keep me warm on this cold day, a bottle of @drinkbodyarmor to keep me hydrated, so I can’t complain! Happy Friday Eve, everyone!
Did someone say snow? I’ll be out here waiting! Did someone say snow? I’ll be out here waiting! Apparently Nashville is supposed to get some winter weather tonight in to tomorrow. I have a love/hate relationship with snow. I love it if I get to be inside and enjoy it by looking out the window with a hot drink and a blanket. I hate it if I have to be out in it. Any other snow lovers?
“Alexa, play music by @nelly” - So I’m a lit “Alexa, play music by @nelly” - So I’m a little late to the workouts this week but with a good playlist and a bottle of @drinkbodyarmor I got my @fit52 #commit2fitchallenge in today! 1 down 3 more to go this week! How is your week going?

Today is #NationalGirlsAndWomenInSportsDay and I l Today is #NationalGirlsAndWomenInSportsDay and I love how @dickssportinggoods is expanding their efforts to support women in sports.

I would be a completely different person if I hadn’t ever played a sport, I am #StrongerWithSports because it teaches you communication, dedication, hard work and working as a team. Growing up I played soccer and basketball competitively until a bad knee injury sidelined me from playing at the competitive level again.

Not only did I play sports but I also held a role as an assistant coach for a girls high school jv and varsity basketball team. I was the only female on the coaching roster and so many of the girls thanked me for being there because they felt like they had someone “like them” to be there for and understand them on another level. I also had a role as a radio broadcast assistant and off-ice official in the United States Hockey League, a male dominated junior hockey league.

If you don’t think women’s sports are important, think again. Thank you @dickssportinggoods for being so active in supporting girls and women in sports. Support your girls in sports not only today but every day. Girls can be in sports too!

Outfit here is exclusively @caliabycarrie a @carrieunderwood brand that is partnered with DSG. This makes me love the brand even more for being part of such a great mission. Thank you Calia and Carrie for creating such a wonderful product that is not only a size inclusive brand but makes me feel confident in my workouts.
🎶whoaaa were half way thereee🎵 I am half way 🎶whoaaa were half way thereee🎵 I am half way through my @fit52 #commit2fitchallenge for the week. Today I decided to challenge myself during my workout and added my @bala bangle wrist weights and I am feeling the burn even from just a few extra pounds but I did it!
